Wall-to-Wall Carpeting
Wall-to-wall carpeting — measured, cut and installed.
Made to measure. Fitted by our own crew.
Broadloom carpeting for bedrooms, offices, hotels and corridors. We carry commercial and residential grades in loop pile, cut pile and textured finishes. Samples are available to take home before committing to a room.
Our team handles the measurement, underlay installation and fitting. We cut around fixtures, door thresholds and curved walls. Pricing is per square foot and includes labour. Most installs complete in a single day.
Six grades for every room.
Loop Pile
Individual yarn tufts looped through the backing without cutting the tips, forming a resilient surface that bounces back under foot traffic rather than compressing and staying flat. Uncut loops resist crushing under furniture legs and heavy footfall far better than any cut pile construction. Level loop (all loops the same height) is the most durable variant and creates a uniform, hard-wearing surface. Multi-level loop introduces subtle pattern through height variation. The standard specification for offices, hotel corridors, retail floors, and any residential area with continuous daily use. Stains lift easily before they dry; most marks clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Cut Pile / Plush
The loop tips are cut to a uniform height, creating a soft, upright surface that feels luxurious underfoot and catches light evenly across the room. Footprints and vacuum tracks are visible on plush pile — the fibres lie flat where pressed — which some find a drawback in busier areas. Best suited to bedrooms, master suites, and formal living rooms where softness and appearance are the priority over robustness. The longer and denser the pile, the more enveloping the feel. Twist pile (each yarn slightly twisted before cutting) is a middle option with good softness and considerably better resistance to showing marks between vacuuming.
Textured / Berber
Combines cut and uncut loops at varying heights to create a sculpted surface texture. The variation in pile height breaks up the uniform appearance of plush or level loop pile and — practically — disguises footprints and marks between vacuuming sessions, which makes it the most forgiving domestic carpet surface for family homes. Berber is a related style: a looped construction in a natural flecked or heathered colour palette that evokes traditional North African weaving; the term is also used loosely for any loop pile in earthy tones. Available in a range of weights from light residential to robust family-room grades. Good value-to-performance ratio across most mid-range options.
Commercial Grade
Woven or tufted broadloom with a high-density construction — typically 40–60 oz face weight — and a heavy secondary backing rated for continuous heavy traffic. Specified for offices, hotel lobbies and corridors, restaurants, retail floors, and commercial reception areas where the carpet must perform under constant daily use for years without matting or fading. Available in plain, tweed, and subtle geometric patterns in colours suited to commercial environments. More resistant to crushing, staining, and pile distortion than residential grade at equivalent price points. We stock both broadloom rolls and carpet tiles; tiles allow section-by-section replacement in areas that wear unevenly, which can extend the overall floor life considerably.
Stair Runner
A narrower carpet — typically 60–80cm wide — fitted to the centre of staircase treads, with the natural wood or stone of the stair visible on either side. The bound or whipped edges are part of the aesthetic: stair runners give a traditional, elegant look that full carpet cannot. Fitted with brass or steel rods in a period home, or with tack-strips in a contemporary one. The carpet grade needs to be robust — stairs are high-wear, high-abrasion surfaces — and we recommend a dense wool-blend loop pile or a twist pile as minimum for staircase use. We measure, cut, bind, and fit; the job typically takes a day and makes an immediate difference to the entrance experience of any home.
Acoustic Underlay
A dense rubber or foam sheet laid between the subfloor and the carpet that performs two functions: it improves underfoot comfort significantly (even modest underlay makes a noticeable difference to how carpet feels to walk on), and it reduces impact sound transmission to the floor below. In Mumbai's multi-storey apartment buildings, footsteps travel clearly between floors — acoustic underlay is often the most effective single intervention for this problem. High-density rubber underlay (10mm and above) achieves the best impact noise reduction. We include standard 8mm foam underlay in our installation pricing; a rubber upgrade is quoted separately and is strongly recommended for any installation above an occupied space.
